I have electricity!! I got it late last night and I almost wanted to kiss the electrician guy. I had never been so happy! Last night I finally didn't have to dress up like the abominable snowman before going to bed since now I have a heater! Woot!
Today I have a Doner/Laundry-Date with Johanna (an exchange student from NYU) and then we're off to Chinatown! She was the one that introduced me to the Doner in Amsterdam and ever since then I've been in love. I actually found a street in the St-Germaine area (on the Left Bank of the Notre Dame) that has an entire street full of doner places but Johanna swears there's one within walking distance to our apartments. So excited =) Then tonight, one of my classmates, Lasana, has a Fashion Party planned (Its Paris Fashion Week) close to the Champs Elysees but I'm not sure how solid those plans are. It'd be awesome if I could go and check out all the models but my hopes aren't too high that this is going to pan out. I'll keep you posted. Other than that, tomorrow is Nuit Blanche which means all the museums are open until really really late in the morning so I have to figure out which museum I want to go to. I already got the Amis du Louvre card (it's an annual card to the Louvre so you don't have to keep paying admission) so I might go to another museum instead. The problem with that is that although the museum stays late, the Metro doesn't. Getting home might be a problem.
