Getting Ready

Soooo, I'm back home in the Bay =) There are still some Lelanders left up here (Caroline, Andy, Yas and Kathy) which makes it fun to come home! The drive up was brutal though. I stopped by in Santa Barbara since I wanted to see my college buddy Michelle before I left but then I was committed to the 101 after that. It was scenic...up until the sun came down and then there was nothing for 300 miles.

Santa Barbara was gorgeous though! Perfect weather and Michelle got us reservations at this cute little table right up on the street so we could people watch. Bacon wrapped white asparagus with balsamic vinegar and olive oil for appetizers, insalata caprese for dinner and finished with cafe affogato =) It was a perfect date if we just stretched Michelle out to 5'10, chopped off her hair and grew her some manly muscles and facial hair =) (Just kidding babe =)). I left close to 8 so by then the sun was coming down and it was downhill from there. I almost ran out of gas in the middle of BFN (the 101 seriously needs to add more gas station stops).

Today was much better =) I finally got to sleep in after that terrible, terrible weekend at Pre-fall. Never again will I party with Toro and Tietz on a "school night" again =) Eden and Jess know what I'm talking about :P Alright well the next few days will be super boring since it'll just be packing, errands and some family/friend time =) I think the next time I blog, I will be in Ireland!
